Gundam Build Fighters New Series in the Works

Having been long rumored, it appears to be official. As "breaking news," the official site for the Gundam Build Fighters TV anime announced today on May 15 that a plan for a new series is in progress, with an image saying "GUNPLA BATTLE NEXT FIGHTERS STANDBY" (see below). No more details yet revealed.

The Gundam Build Fighters TV anime was aired in Japan for 25 episodes from October 7, 2013, to March 31, 2014. Thanks to the story featuring many popular mobile suits from the successive Gundam series, it has pushed the sales of Bandai's Gunpla (Gundam model kits) more than recent years.
